Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Weltog collects, why, and what control you have. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Who we are
Weltog is a personal wealth management application. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@weltog.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your email address, display name and, where you sign in with a provider such as Google, the basic profile details that provider shares.
Financial information you enter: net worth entries, cash flow and budget records, holdings, goals, planning assumptions and any notes you add.
Files you import: holdings statements you upload from supported brokers, processed to create or update your records.
Technical information: limited logs needed to operate the service securely, such as error diagnostics.
We do not connect to your bank accounts and never ask for banking credentials, card numbers, PINs or OTPs.
3. How we use your information
To provide the product: storing your records, calculating your figures, generating reports, answering assistant queries, keeping your account secure, and responding to support requests. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not run advertising.
4. AI processing
When you use the Wel assistant or an AI summary, a structured snapshot of the relevant parts of your data is sent to our model provider to produce the response for that request. This content is not used to train models. If you prefer not to share data this way, simply do not use the AI features.
5. Service providers
We rely on infrastructure partners for hosting, database storage, authentication and AI inference. They process data on our instructions and only as needed to run the service.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Records are isolated per account using row-level security enforced at the database layer, so one account cannot read another's data. Authentication is handled by a dedicated managed service. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep the data we hold deliberately narrow.
7. Data retention
Your records are kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your records and authentication identity. Limited operational logs may persist for a short period before rotating out.
8. Your rights
You can access and edit your data in the app at any time, export reports and CSV files, and permanently delete your account from the Delete Account page. For any other request, contact support@weltog.com.
9. Children
Weltog is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email, and the date at the top will be revised.
